DMX allows you to observe real time movement like never before. This low-dose x-ray imaging technology enables visualization of anatomy in real time motion. The DMX acquires 30 sequential radiographs per second, allowing you to observe the anatomical structures for up to several minutes if required, as well as individual radiographic images. Digital Motion X-ray is a technology that is a unique fluoroscopic imaging system that uses two separate cameras to visualize the internal structures as well as the external structures using patented picture-in-picture technology.
Standard X-ray, CT and MRI all show static views of the spine and anatomical structures. DMX can help assess spine stability by providing a detailed view of the full range of motion in real time. DMX allows you to visualize and pinpoint musculoskeletal injury, such as whiplash, as treatment follow-up and post-operative evaluation of movement. By showing patients their joint movement makes communication simpler and more effective.
